At first I was searching for a unique place to hold a 10 year old's birthday party. I decided to take my two daughter's to see what they thought. We ended up walking thru the store and finding all kinds of interesting beads. One daughter came to me to show me these magnetic beads and my other daughter at the same time brought me a magnetic bracelet and we all looked at each other intrigued with the possibilities. We asked Lydia the owner about the bracelet and offered for us to make it in the store.
Lydia took both girls ages 8 & 9 years old thru the steps and the girls spent an hour and a half or a little more figuring out the beads they wanted to use, pattern and colors and actually beading the wire. Lydia was great. Very passionate and knowledgeable. Overall we were there over 2 hours between walking the store and picking and making our bracelets.
Now fast forward and we just celebrated our daughter's 10th birthday and all 14 girls enjoyed themselves. They can't wait to go to school and show off their bracelets! Lydia and her assistant Lynn were great. Overall it went well and the parents were raving at the quality and beauty of the girls bracelets.
We will be back to learn how to make other bracelet styles. Thanks Lydia and Lynn for making our daughter's party so special.

We just celebrated my daughter's 10th Birthday at Bead Addiction and it was great! After going through the gamut of parties and running out of ideas, I happened to find this awesome new store! From the the time I checked it out I was completely impressed. The store is bright and beautiful stocked with mountains of beads and possible projects. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting to endless creativity. My ten year old was smitten with all the beads in drawer after drawer and what she could do with them! What really drew us in though was the owner Lydia! Her passion for this business, genuine joy of beads and friendly personality made us want to come back! We loved her the moment we met!
The party was perfect for 4th grader's and my 16year that also joined in. Lydia guided the girls on how to make their bracelets, while they chose their own beads. They enjoyed taking their time and putting their own twist on their projects. We followed with pizza and cake and it was a fun afternoon! We had such a good time that we cannot wait to go back and bead some more! Bead Addiction is a great new local spot and wonderful activity for any age. I recommend checking it out!
